Default W.E.L.D.E.R. -- (Universal App) -- Developed by Highline Games

App Store iPhone Game of the Week!!! 19.2MB Universal binary for all iOS devices. Tetris meets Scrabble, with style, gameplay and presentation from Rockstar NY developers. Addiction is unavoidable!

Here's W.E.L.D.E.R.'s launch trailer with the already popular quote: "Mad crazy points yo!" The trailer was made by the Exec Producer of Comedy Central's Ugly Americans show.

Default Game Impressions

Not much to say here; nice game and what you see is what you get. Just the one game mode is a little thin (more promised for what that's worth) but it's solid. Enjoyed it and can easily recommend to fans of word games/puzzlers.

I don't know what the show is that the producer who made the trailer oversees, but I want to see it now. That trailer was awesome.

As awesome as it was though, I'd be really interested in seeing more of the actual gameplay. I guess it seems a simple enough concept, but I'd like to know if you can move letters as far as you want, if there are score multipliers, etc.

Hey,
I put a bunch of gameplay videos up on our website www.weldergame.com last week under the TIPS section. They are also on YouTube.

You can definitely move around letters to form words in a variety of different ways, by using basic Swaps, Group Swaps (grabbing a group of letters and moving them), Reverse Swaps (reversing a selection of letters), or Jump Swaps (flying a letter anywhere). As you progress through a game you earn these different swaps, and you get more of them by scoring more points. Also there are 2x, 3x, and 4x multipliers as you progress through a game.

Enjoy! Shout out if you have any questions!
