His zone appears at Level 17. However he's currently pretty much unkillable as the last update prevents you from being able to heal often enough.
I think they need to fix the potion frequency, or treat different strength potions as separate, timer-wise, or - better still! - bring back charge healing. |

I've written a detailed review and FAQ, here:
http://ravensgift.com/book-of-heroes-review-faq.html It's puzzling that the game requires a web connection, but there is some interaction. You can gain valuable shields by boasting with friends on the internet and bringing more people into the game. I suspect that some of your actual stats are maintained in a server, but I'm not sure about this. I think we ought to be enabled to play offline. Here are some highlights + They updated the game about dec 14, and the use of Energy Points has really changed. If you haven't tried the update, try it! + If you are careful, you can enjoy playing this game entirely for free. It compares favorably, I think, to some games that cost $5. + there's a lot of subtlety in the combat. It's not evident at first, but chances are you'll be learning how to fight better, many hours after you started to play. + This is not the type of game where you spend many minutes slogging back and forth over large maps. You spend most of your time in turn-based combat. + In most RPG's I've played, the rewards for quests are much greater than the rewards for killing monsters. That's not true of Heroes, and this is an interesting difference. + in many games, it is boringly easy to compare similar gear, to decide which is better. In Heroes, would you prefer an amulet that gives you +30 defense, +40 haste, +17 Melee, +40 max life, or +25 Crit? Depends on your playing style, I think. Lots more in my FAQ, please read. |

Loving this game so far, I just wish I could have 3 different saves so I could try all 3 different classes out? Is there any way to do this without losing your progress on one?

Devs I just saw you updated the game but please please can you add multiple save slots so we can try out all the classes? I love the game so far, might be my new addiction! I would be willing to spend money on the extra save slots for different classes.... just saying.

Hey guys,
We're working on multiple save slots now. It will be rolled out sometime in January. You can reset your character, if you aren't attached to them, by going to the options menu though. Playing offline is unfortunately not going to be an option. The server is tightly integrated with the game, and right now we are just scratching the surface of the features we plan to include. Unlike our other games which were pretty much "done" when we shipped them, this game is going to be seeing constant feature updates and new content. Our first major batch of new quests will be coming out at the end of the week. Nice job on the FAQ, tobyr, I found it very interesting and I'm glad to see you're enjoying the game! We check this thread regularly so feel free to post more comments or thoughts on the game. |

How bad are the IAP, is this something you could drop 10 dollars on and experience everything it has to offer? or is it an endless money pit? If it's the latter I don't care how good it is, I will pass.
