Can anyone tell me, or post a screenshot (please) of the cold biome? I have been searching for days, opened up numerous new mines, to no avail. Found about 5 Christmas presents very scattered about in three different mines, but nothing I thought would qualify as a 'cold biome'.

How deep or shallow is this biome usually found? I want that danged Christmas tree!

And the Christmas tree balls....what tree can they be put on?

I think the cold biomes are on the surface. Most generated worlds have them.

Spruce trees are the ones (so I've heard) that you can put balls on.

It does not really seem like a biome but when you make a new world the place with snow and spruce trees is the cold biome. But presents are not found in the cold biome.

Ok, I'm an idiot. I kept digging around underground looking for the mythic cold biome. Thought it was buried in the ground like the Mayan biome.

I still would like to know how to make a spruce tree with snow on the branches like the Christmas tree in the screenshots announcing the update with the Christmas stuff. That tree had ornaments and snow on it.

From the video, it looks like there are bombs, dynamite and chained dynamite. Can't wait!
