The game engine is extremely extendable so expect more content if demand is there.

From my understanding this delay is due to a bug found and they submitted an update not a ploy to market more. The game has been a long time coming I'm sure they are just excited as you are to get the game out on the store. It would be less frustrating to have to wait a bit longer then buy a game and have a bug that should have been fixed already.

In some cases a soft release and then more open one is better on the AppStore because reviews can culminate. I know this because I work in marketing, and now you've lost a customer.
To confirm what Daver said (thanks Daver), delay was caused by a bug, we sent in an update last week to apple and we are waiting for approval. Sorry for the delays, I appreciate the patience.

We will wait...

Do updates need approval too? If not, why not launch and then immediate update. That would have saved you some time. Or was the bug so heavy that Apple denied access in the first place. No matter what, since the "Gold" game has left your office for some weeks now, we can expect some cool updates in the update, no? Hey, what else would you guys do to keep yourselves occupied mmm, I would launch a party when the Gold version left the office

Updates have the same approval time as new games
