Never heard of this game before, just tried the iPhone version, and yep, it's quite brilliant. Definitely plan to pick this one up when I can.

I wish they'd sell the OST. Great thinking music...that's some serious ear-and-brain candy groovin' on dem tracks.

Gabrien, perhaps when 2.5 shows up again and you've absorbed it's powers you'll do a proper review- people tend to trust you, the game would get a decent boost for sure.

Heh, I'm currently trying to "sell" a super fun retro-looking title, and a super fun console-quality-graphics-universal-99c racing game to the general populace here and getting few to no takers. So don't hold your breath.

This game (going on the iPhone version at least) is just a little bit special though, and should sell itself to anyone who gives it a try. But then again, you'd think that of the original, no?

...exactly. I tend to assume (quite snobbishly) that TA people know what's up. I also assume everyone buys 10 or 20 apps a week as I have been doing for the past two and a half years and are as mad for it as I am. I think I need to redress that idea and accept that I am mainlining the app store. I can't help it- I got hooked on the first day with the retro/future app revolution, think of myself as a collector now. My collection is at around 2 thousand paid apps and I only buy the good stuff...Back to Mario Kart 7.

"Mainlining the AppStore". Very cool. I'm gonna steal that one, eh?

Geez, that sounds awfully familiar. (I'm picking up Mario Kart 7 tomorrow.)

This is now available again, but the link in the original post doesn't appear to work. Perhaps a mod could change/update the original post's app info. For now manually searching the app store should turn up the game.

If you like games which force you to think creatively this is for you. Bags and bags of content here too. It is an improvement over the first (already excellent) game.
