Galaxy on Fire, half off sale $2.99

I searched and found nothing. Does nobody care at all? I'm thinking about getting it.

Sale ends in June.

I bought this game when it first came out and from little I have played of it has been very good. The controls work well and you can use tilt or a virtual thumbstick. Graphics are great and the game seems in depth with a be storyline. You can also trade and upgrade and enhance your ship. Although, it can be quite hard at times.

It's a fun game, but it becomes very very repetitive. There are only a few different mission types, and while the graphics are awesome, there's no real variety to those either. The real interest is in upgrading your ship and making use of the in-game economics from planet to planet. I'm a little disappointed that I paid $6 for it in the first place, since after beating the initial 13 missions, I have sort of lost interest. But $3 seems like a pretty good deal.

It's posted in the main thread-did you check there? :P
I played the lite version and was glad to find that I saved myself $6 and then $3. Not bad-just not my thing. That's why I will very rarely buy anything unless there's a light version to check out. Sometimes you have to remember that half the people on this board are probably under 18 and take their ravings about a game with a grain of salt.

Worth it at a sale price

This is a great game! I downloaded it when it first came out and since then the updates have really helped the playability of the game. If it is true that there is a sale, grab it! After you complete the missions and get to explore the galaxy it becomes a massive game, but not very exciting. I can only hope they update it in the future, which is why I'm hanging on to the game.

Me too! I thought the lite was ok...it just seems that people either LOVE GOF or HATE GOF...or they just think it's ok.

Cool! I tried the lite version and I really like this game. I gotta say, I probably never would have tried it game w/o the lite. This is a definite buy for me, although I can see how it can get very repetitive. I think it's still worth picking up for 3 bucks.
