Just had some runs on it. So just early impressions.

It's a very bare-bones rogue-like.

- There is no tutorial, but you are advised to visit their help page. You do have to if you want to get a clue what those skills they asking you to pick upon level up will mean to the development of your character.

- The controls are straightforward. You don't have to use that multiple arrow d-pad thing at the bottom corner there. You could just tap on the grid or direction and you move one step at a time.

- There is a varied no. of monsters and loot. There are things like wands, scrolls and potions. it seems like the use of items depends on your set of skills and/or class.

- It feels like there's a bit of lag but apparently some of that's just the game calculating delay time for things like parry and block.

- When you level up, the skill that you pick or magic determines your class and what you can equip. If you pick one of the magics - light, dark or nature, it determines what kind of spell caster you are. At first I thought you could pick a skill and magic, but no, it's melee skill OR magic.

- Maps are randomly generated -- they can be very large or very small. No minimap.

- There are traps on the floor, and sometimes your character just spots them, and sometimes he doesn't.

- Monsters can get brutal pretty fast. It seems wise to explore the first floor just to kill and level to 2 before moving to the next one. But then you have no control over the size of the map. One of the games, the first floor was small map and I was forced to move on to the next floor.

- There is no sound at all.

- OF ladder.

Conclusion: Only if you are a rogue-like fan/ collector. It's not pretty, it's rough but it's playable, and rather challenging. Visiting their Help page is highly recommended.

I'm not really sure what is going on with these price drops that only last hours ( like kings hero, Joan arc and this one). Thanks for the comment though. .
