I guess i just can't get hit period, or maybe there's a 99 multiplier threashold i exceeded, and that's why i got the same score twice. I guess i'll try again once i get a clue how scoring works in detail. Work of art indeed.
I was wondering why no one has been thinking about this issue. I have studied your score for a while and it appears to me that your score is close to perfect, and that Twin Ho's is beyond
perfect. That's why I have refrained myself from trying to get a perfect score but sit back and think what this is all about. I did rely on the x99 multiplier benefit but really couldn't understand how one can obtain a score Twin Ho has got:
- There is literally no difference between a x99 multiplier and a x100 multiplier
- The scoring increase is minimal even if you pick off mutants in order in the first 3 waves
I have always thought like this: The difference between your score and Twin Ho's is too large to justify itself. And I have always been wondering what the theoretical maximum score (counting from x1 when you start a game) is and if something is wrong right there.
