Interesting (and very annoying) piece of trivia?

My connection usually holds just fine when I have either of the players you mention in my game (No, seriously).

I finally get to play with someone as good or better than me? Drop, drop, drop, drop, drop... Well, you get the picture. If I make it past wave 14 it's a miracle.

The good news? Plenty of practice healing downed team members!

I would suggest we play together, but apparently my connection is the worst on the planet Earth. If you ever decide to throw on the leather jacket and fire up the mini-gun, shoot me an invite.

hmmm ... invite wise guys after debating on a game strategy using Messages app
Otherwise launching survival with random team members is a kind of lottery.
I assumed that the random survival selects teammates with similar gear scores - if it does or did so, well it doesn't work efficiently.
Someone will maybe contradict me but all top leaderboard scores were made playing survival solo.

Kind regards,

Al

My issue (not that anyone asked) is that I feel bad about constantly dropping games and don't want the further burden of feeling worse about dropping a known friend, so I use random most often.

That said, I just got a "GC Friend Invite" from someone who took the time to call me names because I keep "leaving games."

Yeah, a guy running Dust Devil armor and a Nine-Inch maintaining a 100x multiplier through the first 12 boring waves wants to leave the game just as crystals start dropping...

On the other hand, solo bores me almost to death at this point (it's just so lonely), and quite frankly, I cannot survive waves 18-20 without at least a second player.

I really wish there was an answer to the MP connection issues.

The simple reason of dying at waves 18-20 is that you run too close to the mutants. This is a common mistake of many players and they take a lot of unnecessary hits as a result. You haven't really checked the ways to deal with kamikaze-caterpillars, have you? This is a key part to survive wave 19 solo. And beware of the crocodylian champion at wave 18 - never get burnt.

Without question! At least I'm not running up to them and standing there... Every time I see someone doing that, I think to myself, "Well, this won't end well..."

My problem is that I can't clear out enough space fast enough, I end up being too close to them.

I go from using a few medipacks throughout the previous waves to using 20-30... and then dying

I'm still practicing using boosts efficiently (medipacks and damage to take out multiple Shamans), but I'm gonna check out the video tonight when I get home from work.

Regarding the crocodylian champion at wave 18, do you have any idea how much I hate that stupid crocodylian champion?

All that said, I still don't enjoy playing alone, and I wish I didn't have to.

Well I have the solution to your problem. You cannot have both a wifi connection and cellular data for your network connection activated. You can only have one choice running. The reason for you dropping out is because in a split second after sometime in BT it disconnects off your wifi and chooses your cellular data. This usually occurs around after round 10. If you want to see it for yourself then do the following after your next disconnect. Just close BT the moment you get disconnected and you will notice that your network connection has changed from wifi to cellular data.
This problem occurred with me as well and I found out it is an apple hardware problem. So wifi basically at times struggles to stay connected hence the reason for the previous iPhone 4 dropped calls.

Should be easy enough to check, considering my game crashes every time I get disconnected...

I'll report back...

Edit: Whoa, you were RIGHT!

How do I fix it?

Edit 2: Well, I just turned off everything but Wi-Fi and made it to wave 14 in someone else's room, this after a TON of "poor connection" warnings, and losing the 3rd player around wave 10. I'm now realizing that unless everyone else has a good connection, my changes don't do much...

If you see poor connection it is because you and one of the allies are not well suited to play together. It's not your connection but primarily your locations. As long as your wifi connection does well at speedtest.net you should not be prime reason.
