Thanks for doing the right thing.

Regarding MP, that's precisely the problem. Low leveled players who might cheat do not become "infinitley more usefull in multiplayer," they become completely and utterly useless.

I cannot tell you how many times I've run into players sporting 500+ crystals worth of gear who have no idea what they're doing. It's a real drag, and makes Random a nightmare on most days. Don't believe me? Scroll through this thread alone and read what others have written.

Players who might exploit cheats simply have not learned how to play the game, and as such, they're a substantial burden on players who know how to stay alive, keep others alive, survive later waves (how about past Wave 4-5 while wearing Paladin Armor and rocking a Gojira? lol), go for score, etc.

I would safely bet that a top level player like Twin Ho, Ramonnoodles, Bravo Two, or Scary Guns could outscore any low level player using any combination of gear if said top level players were confined to using only White Level gear and Medipacks, simply because they are better players. All the cheats in the world won't change that...

Thanks again,

DBC

Anyone else having trouble with BT online?

In the past few days, I haven't been able to Back-Up, "Looking for game" sometimes runs for minutes without reaching the "Looking For Players" screen, and games are dropping in the first 1-2 waves...

Hey! Have you tried today, we made a lot of changes to our server structure yesterday, so should be better in both Bullet Time HD and Subway Surfers.

Sorry it took a minute for me to post, it was 4:00AM here when you posted.

I wish I had better news, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

I just tried for a bit (about an hour), and here's what I got:

About 50 "Looking for game" screens, and one successful (scratch that, just got a second as I was typing this) "Looking for players" screen with no one joining.

All the rest were, "Connection failed, try again later."

Edit: Just got, "No game is available..." Never got that one before?

Edit 2: Couple hours later, still no joy...

FWIW, I hate delivering bad news, and I really appreciate you guys spending so much time in the forums trying to help players!

Well yeah, Bullet Time online games are not working for me either and subway surfers fails to load new daily challenge. Better roll back those changes...

First, good news. I got in a couple times in the past hour!

OK, next:

I just had the craziest thing happen.

So, after way too many hours of trying MP, I got into a room with two other players, both decent, one I had played with before, a little crazy (suicidal) but takes care of his/her health, so whatever.

Anyhoo, we lose one player. Happens all the time, whatever. This is when it gets weird.

Second player falls... in the middle of about 100 mutants. I go to pick them up (whatever, I'm not going for score), turny wheel thing happens, I see them get up, I run out of harm's way, catch my breath...

And where the H**l are they? No blue triangle, no "player down" symbol. They're gone. I run over to where they were... and there they are.

I must have tried 50 times to pick them up, but there was no indication that they were even down, aside from their lifeless corpse...

Edit: Did I mention it was their room? And I continued to play until the wave (16? 17? 18?) was over? All the while running over to their lifeless corpse repeatedly trying to will them into being, well, alive? Yeah, it happened.

Anyone else had this happen?

Given that you are in another player's room, you must have experienced some lag. I think I have mentioned this before. If you, not being the host, try to revive somebody, that person's actual location may differ sightly from where you see him. So make sure you run around him and stay longer to see him get up again. If you leave as soon as the counter fills up, chances are that person may get almost revived but have the progress reversed since you leave before it actually gets done. When this happens, you will lose the revive indicator, making it very hard to revive that person again. To revive a person at this stage, you have to go around him in circle (he would most likely be next to where you see him), imagine there is a revive indicator, and wait until you see him get up.

Although I stood over this player for what felt like an hour after they didn't initially get up (after I cleared out the area), this makes sense, and now I feel like a jerk.
