I am really interested in your way to grind crystals (apart from those times when the system gives you 36 after a co-op MP). You said in this forum "I grind on campaign and average about 100 crystals in 2hrs. I remember when I only did 2 days of grinding and bought the gojira, about 4 hrs total."

If you tell us how to do it, many of us would be very grateful.

For a level 10 I can't decide which type of gun to get, I love flamers and rifles, even the first flamer and I like pistols and crossbows... I'm debating the stinger or death dealers (others are way too expensive)

Darthguy, between those two, I'd suggest the Stinger -- pistols have an INCREDIBLY short range, from what I've found, you'll be able to shoot further offscreen with a slightly higher DPS with the rifle.

Note that I'm probably newer to this game than you though. I'm personally also experimenting with the Ripper, but that's primarily because I'm doing some silver farming from Co-op MP. Before you listen to anything I say, it's probably best to get an expert's advice from here >.>

Edit: Also note that the Ripper has a low rate of fire, and can't take out the Ranged Mutants in one hit unless it's a critical (it can take out the melee mutants and wasps in one strike regardless though).

Stinger. Very nice piece of weapon to get you started. I remember getting all the deathmatch trophies with just the Stinger. It has a long range, high fire rate and high accuracy. This thing is good enough to get you through the campaign series on lower difficulties.

Today I completed the ENTIRE Chapter 3 on Hell mode. One hour and twenty minutes or so. And I got .... FIVE DAMN CRYSTALS.

Then I completed the ENTIRE Chapter 2 on Hell mode. Some 45 minutes. And I got SEVEN DAMN CRYSTALS.

I am starting to think that Scary Guns has bribed the guy who controls the crystals dispenser and gets OUR crystals ...
