Perfect! Thank you, this is exactly what I was looking for!

I'm fairly new to MP, but this is sound advice. I had the good fortune of playing with a (very) top level player early on, and it's amazing how much you can learn in a short period of time if you pay attention. Clearly playing together, staying healed (and making sure others don't fall), and not standing in place for long periods are the keys.

To buy critical add-ons is fine when you're rich but they can be replaced by damage boosts when needed. And play a lot to maximize your level.Al
The more I look at expense vs. value, it seems the higher end gear often is not the ultimate best for MP (Dust Devil vs. Paladin for example).

Regarding IDKFA, maybe I'll pick up the Commander gear and the IDKFA to improve my play in campaign, MP, and to give me a shot at DM, and start saving crystals for the Nine-Inch... Of course, then I'll have to learn how to use the crossbow... lol

Thank you so much for your help, and maybe I'll see you in MP!

The best way to play coop multiplayer is to run and gun. Stick together as a group, run around the map in a circle, and stay away from the mutants to avoid getting hits. These serve two purposes:
  1. Reduce the need of burning through the medipacks
  2. Keep the team multiplier high
Do these right and you will survive till the end at a high score. It would be nice if you have a crossbow because you will naturally run and gun with this weapon.

Did a plus/minus on new gear/weapons and went with the Commander Armor set for now...

Massive jump in Defense, pluses to Crit and Speed... They'll make me much less of a liability in MP, and they should serve me well in Campaign until I can afford to make more significant upgrades.

Next is IDKFA, again, not the best, but it will be a solid choice for MP, DM, and Campaign until I can get a Crossbow...

Edit: I am now the proud owner of an IDKFA! It's very killy... :-)

IDKFA isn't a solid choice for DM.

Are there issues with the multiplayer servers? I keep getting disconnected when the action is getting hairy.

Other than that....I am fully addicted to the game and have pretty much played it everyday since launch.

Yeah ... it's a "Lost connection" fest for the moment - often followed by BT app crashing to the springboard or hanged on the loading screen. Three quarters of my survival games finish like that now. Most of the time during the 15-20 levels. Not to be confused with the daily quest syndrome when coops drop games early after receiving their tiny reward.
Kiloon boys have been particularly silent these days ...

Kind regards,

Al

Thanks for the feedback, although you're obviously a little late...

FYI, I just took down a guy pounding the heal button, sporting a mini with flame damage... :-P lol

The rifles are good on average players in deathmatch. I remember getting all trophies on deathmatch simply by using the Stinger.

Yeah, what you said!

At this point, I'm just an average guy looking to be average...

One more deathmatch trophy... Come 10-man kill streak... lol

The IDKFA huh. I personally never had the chance to use that weapon since I started some months after the game released and was forced to aim for the purple coded. But I have read many compliments about that weapon in its prime. There were many users of the IDKFA from what i have read and I do believe it is a great weapon since I find the Minotaur to be the most significant weapon in this game.

You should experiment with all types of the weapons to figure out the proper combinations. Then you will be as a girl having a hard time to decide which to use and is most probably the reason this simple game keeps me coming back.

Play for score. You will find great allies and different styles in which you will learn to adjust.
