If you would like to try that heroic move of reviving somebody among tons of mutants, use a defense boost, so that you won't end up like the other guy.
Once again, I'm learning new things!

So, the downed player, if I understand correctly, will stay down and visible (assuming they don't leave the game voluntarily) until I die or revive them?

If this is true, I could r-n-g to thin out the herd a bit, lure the remaining (usually larger) mutants to the other side of the map, and then speed boost over to the fallen player?

If you see the game pause for a little while with the "poor connection" indicator flashing, and then one player leaves the game, it is likely that he loses connection. If you see the "waiting for other players" countdown, some player may have exited the game (maybe pressed the home button?), received a phone call, or something similar. If someone just leave a game without any such signs, he could have returned to the main menu from the pause menu.

It is in fact harder to keep up the multiplier with more players:
  1. the other players may not be going for score
  2. they may not know how to cooperate (run as a group)
  3. the mutants have multiple targets as opposed to a single target during a solo game, so it's harder to guide the mutants around

The downed player will remain there if the things you mentioned do not take place. The only issue is that if you leave that player before reviving him successfully (the countdown is complete but he has not get up yet), the revive indicator will disappear but the player will be still there lying. You can still revive him later on, but you will not see the countdown and so you should circle around him until he really gets up.

You should just try to go at it alone any way. sometimes I'll make a room in the auto fill knowing they will be dropped cuz it will help bring my score up a lil faster depending on the player, than I finish it alone. I got fed up and just played all 20 alone to make the leader board today, and yes.. With no problem and no poor connection pop up, also at the end of about 2 1/2 hours I got an invite again from nino rullo, sure I joined and I got booted again at wave 8. I'm sure he knows that I don't just leave so I know we'll play again, but I don't know what other people mite think & funny the connection was better this time than earlier today.?

I suggested the speed boost cuz I found that before if I'm in a jam and need that player, racing over to them away from the goons doesn't revive him or her with the lag. We all have our way of playing I figured all of it out on my own and I'm still learning, I joined this forum yesterday and found a lot of questions I would've liked answers for awhile ago.

Had a little practice with this just now...

Made level 16, and I have to say, at that level, if you don't run, you die... period.

So, considering I bought the Behemoth (which I'm discovering is aptly named as it apparently weighs about 500 pounds), should I be saving for a Nine-Inch, which will be paired with my IDKFA for now, making me faster but adding a new variable to learn, or go for the Dust Devil armor, utilizing what I already have?

I am soooo sloooow right now.

Go for the Nine-Inch. With a low fire rate, you will be running more than gunning and you would observe quite a significant increase in move speed, not to mention the 10% reduction in move speed using the RPG. The piercing damage of the crossbow also gives you a lot of advantages in later waves.

LOL. Did I? Why not have some deathmatch game again? Haha. I don't rage quit if I remember it well. Do you mean I leave when it ends? I am sure I am pretty poor at deathmatch though and I don't mind getting owned.

I like a good death match and you can find good games when they offer 3 crystals for one kill, but I've found the person with the better connection or who made the room has the upper hand. For that reason I have left the room when the timer has ran out.

That's very true. Sometimes it is not about skills, but who is hosting the game. When the lag occurs, you will not be able to hit the target even though you aim correctly and eventually get owned.

I agree with Bravo Two, the Nine Inch is always by my side along with a rifle or a minigun that I've found to work well shooting down those little Kamikaze-Caterpillars.
