I have to say, the only thing I don't like seeing in MP is chain-guns. You just can't move quick enough to stay out of the middle of things.

That said, I like to see both similar gear and a variety of gear. What I mean is, I like to see a crossbow, and then a mix of rifle/shotgun/rpg/flamer between the players. It really adds to the ability to play in a concerted, thoughtful way, as opposed to running around shooting everything.

I especially like seeing a variety of weapons when it comes to drawing fire and flanking, etc.

Made level 18 with two of us tonight, then my second got dumped. Getting closer...

You would beat the game if you don't draw attention to the contaminators. The best method in doing that is shooting offscreen. Get in the habit of shooting offscreen 90% of the time since it makes life easier.

With regard to shooting offscreen, I'm there, and the crossbow DEFINITELY makes this much easier... I think now I've just got to add the Minotaur.

Not sure how close I am to beating level 20, I've got to get there first.

But I'm certainly trying!

Maybe I'll see you out there...

I certainly agree with you in principle, but the problem is that crystals don't really start dropping until the later waves, so if you don't hook up with people who are interested in surviving the later rounds (and frankly know how to do so), your chances of getting crystals dramatically decreases...

That being said, playing 4-5 rounds with a couple players and then going it alone for 10-11 beats working or mowing the lawn!

I love playing so much and I enjoy everything about the game,..as long as I have the time I don't mind grinding away with a level 1 player. As long as the other players are showing effort on their parts by being active and being a team player. I don't like the ones that just stand there....letting me do all the work.

It's funny, I just had a relevant experience...

I just finished a(n?) MP game with another player who was falling A LOT. I was admittedly getting a little frustrated picking this player up over and over, and then I realized that he (she?) had leveled up at least 4 times in about 7-8 rounds, letting me know it was a newer player. At that point, I became determined to carry this newer player as far as I could.

We made it to wave 11 before their connection failed. I can only hope I did my part to make their experience enjoyable!

I'm gonna send you a gamecenter request. You'll know it's me in the text.

Whenever you want to play...and If I can I will.

What do you struggle with specifically? I'm certainly no expert, but there are LOTS of great players, who also happen to be great people, hanging around here willing to help.

So yeah, what exactly makes you "rubbish?"

I was doing well and upgrading my guns and armor and all that but recently I got stuck on the spiders in the third part. And that's on normal difficulty. I probably need a different weapon or something.
