Is the update out yet? I ask because my kids play this, not so much me, and they are looking forward to the update. I did a bunch of updates last night, but didn't notice if Minecraft was among them.

Do we know if this version involved any mining or crafting? Or is it still just for building only?

My understanding is that it won't have crafting yet, but will have survival mode and some additional items like doors, cows (I think it was cows) and such. Crafting is coming in the future.
