When I first saw screenshots of this game I was intrigued and thought to myself "Is this a game I'd really like?" but didn't buy it when it was released.

It went on sale recently so I decided to give it a go and I've got to say that this is a top notch game! Great music, gameplay and graphics make it a game worthy of gracing any iDevice

Enjoy

yuppa - amazing game. It's been on my iPod since I bought it - I've ran through it once... but am in the middle of my second playthrough - which I can only say about a handfull of games that I've had on my devices...

Definitely locked its spot in the top 10 of my top 20 of 2011 list very quickly after purchasing it... =oP

**which reminds me... I can't for the life of me remember why I took it out of my sig... =o/

Is it worth shellin out 3x as much for the extra pixels on the iPad version? How does it look (and play) in 2x mode?

I don't have an iPad, but it looks gorgeous with retina display, I can only imagine what it looks like in full native iPad resolution. =oP

Ya I've seen the screens and some videos, looks beautiful. But I do have a hard time with the 3-4x price difference between retina builds and iPad builds. It's not the price per se (the game might be worth alot more what do I know). Oh well I've put it on my AppZapp list for now!

I'd say the iPad version is worth the $3. If you play it in 2x it's just going to bother you that it doesn't look as good as it could. If you're a graphics whore, that is.

Having seen both, it doesn't look bad at all in 2x, but it looks oh so nice in retina / HD.

Now playing: Squids, Shantae, Mage Gauntlet, Roboto, Emberwind, Cordy, Whale Trail, Aquaria, Super Crossfire, Extraction, Crazy Hedgy, Terra Noctis, Pocket RPG, Glowfish, Steambirds, Edge Ex, SANDWICHES!!, Goat Up, Bean's Quest, Last Rocket, Blobster, Run Jump Kill, Don't Run WAPS, Jap Werewolf, Space Tripper, Sonic CD, Sleepy Jack.

Picked it up. Great game so far and still looks nice on my non-retina 2G.
