RI is Royal Intervention, and makes you gain as many points as the amount of gold you currently have on a single site.
Pantheon is a site that if you control, you win the game. Put together, they make quite an evil combination... |

Anyone come across the combo with the card that returns all your opponent's agents/sites to hand and then another card that discards their hand? That is pretty brutal. It's worse than the above combo cause it just makes you sit there and watch yourself lose, which is an auto quit IMO lol |

I'm using Seeking Sanctuary to great effect. Judgement Day is a late option I absolutely need to explore. I'm very intrigued by the "dump x gold for y effect cards". The Media one that creates a Fierce creature is a great example of this type of card I suspect is stronger than people think. I had Pontifical High Mass in an early build but removed it. To often in the early game it sat in my hand and in the late game playing more sites to boost influence seemed more effective because on occasion I would need to replay sites after they were neutralized. Based on your input I read over Scientific Espionage. It looks like a great choice vs control and combo decks. I'll do some testing with it. Thanks for the input! |

A Few Thoughts on AC: Recollections in General
It has a ton of flavor. I have never even played an Assassin’s Creed video game and I get the sense of what the world is like. All the art makes me intrigued to learn more about the world and play the video games. It has a game play mechanic in the day and gold increase speed that make it a CCG that’s uniquly playable on a tablet system. I’m not sure it would be the same game if you played with physical copies of the cards. There is a lot of depth and strategy to AC: Recollections. Remember this is an initial release of cards. I can’t remember a CCG with this much depth from its initial release and that includes Magic, WoW and Vs. Even without an ELO or tournament system in place I’m seeing a metagame shaping up rather quickly. That’s awesome when you consider that most players are still collecting cards and learning about their abilities. Like everyone else I do have a wish list of things that will take this great game to the next level: 1. Auction House 2. Ability to search cards by name in the sequence manager “Google style” 3. A complete online visual library 4. Tournament structure and rating system 5. Ability to create and use sideboards during tournaments 6. Bug Fixes in general (XP credit is at the top of the list) 7. Official forums Overall, AC: Recollections is the game I’m playing most on the iPad right now and that’s with the release of the Ascension expansion! I’m looking forward to building more decks and playing in tournaments in the future. This game has a LOT of potential. |

I've been following this thread for a while and I enjoy this game very much like a lot of you. Thanks to all for sharing deck strategies, especially Brontobeuf.
What prompt me to start posting is because of the criticism raised about the game and all I want to say is: I've spend $50 on the game (all focusing on Templar packs) and intend to spend more for Assassin packs next. Even though it is all intangible, I am still having fun from the experience of constructing decks, thinking of strategies and collecting virtual cards just like I had with Yugioh, Magic: The Gathering, Overpower in reality. I've made this game the focus of my blogging and hope to create a card list for Templar Cards soon! Last edited by ottbot; 12-20-2011 at 08:34 AM.. |

Unfortunately, I don't have all the cards so modified it to focus more on rushing aspects. Put in usual income boosters (action 0/+2, 1/+1, draw card) replacing Dama Rossa (only have 1 grr..) and Art Gallery. Put in extra Magnetic Personallity. Magnetic Personality is definitely a very strong card than it seems. It can give +3 score, kill your opponent agent and/or save yours.

Impending academic, green action cost 7, return all sites and agents to owners hand. Doomsday, red action cost 7, discard all opponent hand. Need 14 gold for maximum effect. Brutal but RI/Pantheon or 2xRI + pilfer supplies (regain all gold) are easier to pull off and only need 12 gold. Can anyone tell me which faction Engineer's Workroom is? Assassin or Templar? Thanks. Where's the Auction House? :P |
