There are no turns, both players play at the same time. It's still a strategy game, not an action fest, so things still take their time to resolve and you have time to think. Really, it's 99 cent and has a great tutorial that explains everything. If you like CCGs at all, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot.

It'll take you 2 or 3 hours I guess. If you win on your first go. Note that the starter deck, plus the boosters you can buy with the in game rewards are enough to beat story mode. YMMV of course.

Everything he said could have been deduced from earlier Ubisoft comments and that stuff that wasn't (Japanese version, iphone version) we have no way to check out.
