As i find them thoroughly annoying I now quit from any deck that drops a discard from red. i refuse to sit there locked down for however long they decide to not end the game. Free wins for all!
love, column P.S. unless im playing my blue deck. then i will counter you and smile. |

Quitting is what the game is all about. Rebooting, relogging into uplay, etc. If i have been collecting cards since day one, have opened at least two hundred boosters, ranked in the top five, and I still have to instaquit half the games after seeing the same thief/pantheon/stall/discard decks all the time, imagine how much fun it is for someone who just started. The fun part of the game is remembering all the names that keep playing these decks (one second window!) and seeing how fast i can hit the quit button. My reflexes in this area have increased ten fold. I won the achievement for that and got a free booster. Oh look, another raving drunkard! |

Yeah, nothing beats the excitement of sitting there and waiting...and waiting... for days, until someone makes a move, each loaded up with 35 mana.

ubisoft really are a bunch of ungrateful sods. Here is this thread, constantly in the advertising limelight at the top of the forum, (and a generous two star ranking) and do they ever bother to post a response to how they are listening to all this feedback, getting the patch released next week iinstead of next year? Not a word. If there is a 'worst customer service' award, they win it hands down.
There are many who invested over $500 in this buggy mess, and this us how they are rewarded? Pathetic. Can i mention again how often it crashes right in the middle of a game? Astounding ineptitude in the programming dept. Last edited by Spatzi; 01-18-2012 at 07:32 PM.. |

It really baffles me those cards exist at all. Who's bright idea was it to design cards that discard cards faster than the refresh rate. The game is in desperate need of a common golden Templar card that increases draw rate. Or maybe they could just increase the draw rate? Am I the only one who thinks it strange that the min deck size is 50 when most games are won with only 15 cards used? |

For collection purpose I guess.
At least you will be getting something tangible back for all the investment.

50 cards is good. It forces players to build their decks with some thought and reduces the 'luck' factor. I don't mind losing to skill but losing to luck is another story. For a very long time, SE was 30 card min deck size and that makes all the games (and decks) very very similar - hence they lost out a lot of players who were frustrated with the lack of strategy and depth. Now SE is 40 card minimum, but there are still others who feel that SE is shallow. IMO, it's better and playable now. SE is not likely to go up to 50, unless the card pool is vastly expanded. (which is not likely in near future) MtG is 60. But MtG needs about 1/3 'land' cards. and MtG card pool is huge. I think 50 is good for ACR; we'll have to see how the expansion works out. Either way, large deck size minimum = more theorycrafting/deck-building = more strategy and depth = more fun. |

My media deck is the only one with any chance against discard. That's only due to self duplicating cards. Interesting that you think 50 cards reduces luck. I'd say it has the exact opposite effect. Some games I get the mix of cards I need some I'm missing my hard hitters, some I've got no income others I get 3 of the same currently useless counter card. With smaller decks I wouldn't need 5 copies of a card to see it most games. Maybe it's just my inexperience with ccgs showing. I've only played urban rivals ( deck of 8, use 4 at random ) And blue moon ( deck of 30, game usually lasts until one players deck empties ) |
