App description: Battle of Gundabad is the first DECK BUILDING CARD GAME on iPhone! Every player plays with his own set of cards. At game end the player with the most victory points (VP) wins!

The game consists of 27 cards with thousands of combinations and 2 game modes: Campaign and Normal Modes. In Campaign Mode you help Bolg to save his father by overcoming all kinds of challenges, while in Normal Mode every game you will be randomly assigned 10 out of 20 action cards which gives you thousands of different combinations. Battle of Gundabad is definitely a welcome addition to any deck building gamer's collection!

Huh? Separate version? Darn... The card graphics seems very soft.

Statement: Star Wars has 2 characters with strange use of grammar: Yoda and HK-47. I pick HK-47 for it is meaner.

Honestly, I was never terribly good at games. - Finch (PoI S2E16)

Debating checking this out. I was interested in Gundabad on iPhone, but some of the reviews and having to play on the small screen kept me away.

However, Dominion (the original this game clones) is supposed to be out on iPad sooner or later. Makes it a little harder to take the plunge.

With the new Ascension expansion coming out. Gundabad seems to have been left in the dust.

Can't agree more.

Great game. I've owned the iphone version for ages and been through the campaign twice now.

Up to mission 4 on the HD version now. The card art really isn't improved much in the HD version but the extra real estate on the screen really makes it a joy to play. It also seems like the 4x speed plays faster than the iphone. And really, that's what's important. I'm glad they didn't use the ipad capabilities to just improve the art. You can always zoom in on the cards to appreciate the art if you want but you memorize the cards pretty quickly and then the enhanced gameplay with the bigger screen really shines. Thumbs up on this from a longtime Gundabad player.

I've had the iPhone BoG for eons but, for no apparent reason, never got around to it. Now that all of this Dominion claptrap is in the air it became apparent to me again that this is a great port, or at least a nice card game HEAVILY INSPIRED BY Dominion.

Well, WOW, I was blown away! Played a few games on my iPhone only to find out they DID make an iPad version as well. Very challenging AI, interesting campaign scenarios (often it isn't about winning but just achieving some odd objective by the end of the game), and a pretty intuitive UI (I have to admit the iPad UI works so much better for me than the flipping of mutiple screens on the iPhone).

4/5 (have to dock it at least a single point for being a clone of somebody else's game, but still a darn well done one).

Well I've been playing quick match in this for a few days since picking it up on sale last week and just got around to trying the campaign mode and boy is it kicking my ass,
This is a great card game and once you learn the cards it's really fast to play for a quick match.
Sure the card art isn't that high res but at he same time I like that because it keeps the file size down.
Damn you AI I will beat you one of these days.
