Even with the reel hints there is nothing like the combo table itself to clue you in on the VALUE of the various combos PLUS, by having this pop-up when paused you can't have folk abusing the pause function to stop the action in the game to then plot out their next move. |

Not shooting down the idea, just trying to be helpful
![]() I'd love a pause menu myself. |

![]() They released an update that appears to fix a few bugs but if you want details on the fixes just ask the solo guitarist guy on the left in the main menu. |

Thanks, I did notice the reel at the top, but sometimes it is useful if you already have e.g. a rabbit and a monkey on screen and you forgot whether rabbit-something-monkey was a combo or not, to be able to check that. Or when you get a rooster and you think "uhm, is that an upgraded duck or something else entirely?" It is not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have it available in game.
More problematic: since the update the game crashes a lot for me. Never in game, but always on starting the game. I start the game, press "play", and the game crashes. I start the game again and it goes fine. I even restarted my device (iPad 1) but that didn't solve it. Anyone else having this problem? |

Unfortunately while fixing an issue on iPhone 3Gs and iPad 1 where the animals would sometimes turn invincible, we introduced a new bug where the game crashes if you press play too early after the game has loaded.
This only happens on the iPad 1 and iPhone 3Gs (and iPod touch equivalent). We are so sorry for this inconvenience, and working hard on fixing it and releasing a quick update. Unfortunately it usually takes up to a week for Apple to approve version updates. The workaround for now, is that when you start the game for the first time on older devices, don't press play until approximately after George (the trumpet playing skeleton) says "We hope you'll enjoy it". We hope you'll have a little patience with us, and please, if you encounter people with the same problem, tell them about the workaround. Best, Tough Guy Studios |

Thanks for the reply TGS! It's good to see that the devs are monitoring the forums. I hope you'll consider my pause menu suggestion
![]() Thanks for the workaround, it now works fine for me. I must protest though, at hearing my shiny iPad that's less than a year old and still feels like something from the future being referred to as an "older device". That's just wrong

We worked hard and fast and Apple turned out to be super helpful in doing a fast review, so Time Ducks v1.0.2 is now live, which fixes this bug.
Also, sorry for referring to iPad 1 as an older device - should of course have refered to it as a 1st gen super-size futuristic touch-tronic-device. It won't happen again ![]() We'll definitely consider the pause menu. We actually planned on at least having a pause menu that would popup if you exit Time Ducks mid-game, so you will have a chance to catch your breath and prepare yourself, before you resume the action. Hm, we should put that into an update (but we would rather put in a new engine room...) |

Oh also, as a gigantic fan of Stanley Kubrick, I just wanted to congratulate you on the trailer for Time Ducks. Impressively faithful to the original and damn funny. Rock on. |

Wow what a fantastic game I can't believe there are so few people on the leaderboard. This really deserves to be played by lots more people.
By the way it's on sale right now for 69p. |
