Thanks for pointing that out. Just saved $3.99. There is no mention of IAPs in the main app description and in the most local App Stores (p.e. the Austrian App Store) there is not even this little text box with "Ruby Sponsorship $9.99…"

Definitely. I—as a hardcore iPhone/iPad fanatic—am considering to change the gaming platform. When they do this crap with Asphalt 7 I probably won't buy an iPad 3.

A shame. Really. iOS gaming is going bad. iOS gamers are considered as complete fools by such devs.

Really loving it so far.I don't think the IAP will be a fun spoiler here,i'm sure you'll make more money as you get further in the game.Ofcourse there will be grinding involved but that's in almost every race game i've played.

Awesome top down racer .. Shame about the IAP , but to be honest, you don't really need to buy any IAP unless you want to unlock extra cars quicker.. The game cost me £1.29... I would have been happy paying £3.99 for a game of this great quality, so I bought 2 lots of 69p IAP .. So including the cost of the game...it totals about £2.50 I've spent... I'm happy with that, this game is worth that.

I hate the iap like in asteroids gunner where you have no choice but to buy extra IAP if you wanna see the whole game. Or the IAP in flight control where you can buy your way to the top of leaderboards without having any gaming skill

This game the IAP is totally optional. It's just a bit more of a grind if you opt out of buying IAP. And let's be honest, it's hardly a grind with a game of this terrific quality

Awesome game no matter of IAPs cause LeMans is an awesome car. Tweak its nitro and top speed and you don't need a new car for a long time!

Actually, in the harder races you end up earning around a grand or so per race.

Will hold off a purchase after reading dk79's impressions about the game being far too easy. No challenge = No buy. Hopefully later stages get alot harder or adjustable difficulty get patched in. I'll keep this one on my radar for now.

The game gets much harder the further you get. The first few circuits are easy but trust me, its much more difficult later on.

Please I beg you to "give up" the platform already. You'll be one less complainer to waste 5 minutes of writing on. I'm sure paying $40 to $50 for 3DS and Vita games will make more sense financially for you. Not to mentioned the many updates you'll be able to look forward to. NOT!
