Cool Six guns Easter egg found! Therealriley

Hey guys and girls, hopefully I am the first but I have found what I believe to be an Easter egg in six guns. There's a cowboy on a horse in the sky! Please see my album on photo bucket and confirm it by tracking it down yourself?

Also any one looking for the chicken meat I went to the cave in top left of Arizona and found more chickens there then went back to the guy where I found another two chickens there. Mission complete

I, for one, have been thoroughly enjoying this game. In reference, to the pop-up ads/reminders and IAP, I understand some of your annoyance with these. I, too, would just rather pay the $6.99-$9.99 price tag to get an ad-free full pro version of the game. But, this is a business, and Gameloft (love it or hate it) is out to make money. I am not going to get into a discussion over the merits of Gameloft here. There are many other forums for that. But I will put in my two cents about Six-Guns.

First, there is the aforementioned "money-making" part of IAP/ads. Surely, no one here would suggest that, say, Bungie or any other company drop thousands--or even millions!--into making a game and then just give it away for free. Sometimes, I see gamers seeming to suggest this very thing when complaining about IAP or prices ("I wouldn't pay $5.99 for that! But maybe I would pay $0.99..." or "IAP?! *rage!* I shouldn't have to pay anything to get upgrades!") Well, that is the model Gameloft has chosen with Six-Guns. We can download or not, and participate or not. If we choose to participate in this model, then perhaps we could think about the product differently. Simple as that, I think, but it's just one opinion.

Second, and this one is more personal, I think this is a great game. Graphics, sound, gameplay are all good. I know storyline, missions, and such are not to everyone's liking but I don't happen to like any of the Final Fantasy games (blasphemy, I know ). I approached Six-Guns this way: since it is free, I am getting a great game for nothing other than space on my iPhone. Since it's free, I can deal with ads/pop-ups like in all of the other free games that I've downloaded so I am not going to complain about it.

As far as as specific IAP for THIS game, I also get the pricing complaints. I could even actually see myself partaking of the IAP if prices were slightly more reasonable, but I can't honestly say that they are "ridiculous" as they stand. I look at IAP in a game like this as an option or an enhancement, IF I want to use it, but I don't HAVE to. The IAP would be for those who do not wish to wait for the free part to work as intended, or who want to get all of the "good stuff" faster. I haven't paid a penny yet, and I'm still enjoying this game.

So, just are just some of my thoughts on IAP and Six-Guns. Any comments, flaming, vitriol, support, or disagreements are welcome! I'm anxious to hear more from other fans/critics of this game! Thanks!

Downloaded it while reading through this thread. IAP that opens additional levels is fine, but buying coins in a game never works with me. I guess consumable IAPs are what I have an issue with.

Everyone is out to make money, and the whole point of the game is to do that, but I can't enjoy playing a game when the feeling of being ripped off is too obvious. There is a fine line between "sure I'll buy that upgrade" and "ah hell not again!"

Also, I just can't play FPS games well on my phone or iPad. It's just too frustrating for me. I always try the latest and greatest but I just get frustrated every time. I'd love a good western but I'll pass on this.

Hi guys, is anybody still playing this? I installed the game from my previous backup (via iTunes) on my brand new 4th gen iPad, and low and behold.. the game has graphical problems! There is some flickering of the whole textures, sorry if I can't describe it better I'm not a native English speaker... it's like when I am outside in the country some textures/polygons are flashing in a very unpleasant way. It only happens outside and ONLY in this game. I have not encountered so far any problems in any other game...What should I do? Should I go return the iPad or is this just the game's glitch? I could not find anything like this via Google search...Also did not find this problem on Gameloft forums.
Would appreciate any advice, thanks.
EDIT: Here's the link to a youtube video, if anyone would be so kind to check it. And sorry about the low quality.

I actually gave it another go a few months back as there was an update for it. Didnt have any graphical problems on my ipod, i 'presume' Gameloft havent bothered updating this for the latest ipad/ipod touch.

'Perhaps' it didnt sell as many IAP's as originally intended, i cant see Gameloft bothering with this game now.

Shame, it had potential but it was so annoying doing a mission, getting 100 dollars and then spending most of that on bullets !

I must say I really enjoy this game, even more so on the iPad's big screen. I am even able to swallow the glitches just to be able to play it. I was asking because I wasn't sure if it was my iPad or the game, but it seems it really is the game...

The game 'could' have been so good but IAP's ruined it for me. I dont remember there being a recent update for the latest ipod touch/ipad, could contact Gameloft, worth a try.

Contacted Gameloft, no answer yet. The problem persists after a clean re-installation of the game, please see my new video:

Do you still think it's a software glitch?

UPDATE: Got an email from Gameloft, they promised to do something about it. Hopefully still enough people play this for them to find it feasible...

I'm happy that I did not delete this game. Once I download the update I'll see if I can use my Crucificator in multiplayer and see if the new solo mode is better than before.
