How to market your indie games
Interesting video from Ben Kuchera who is the gaming editor at Ars Technica with lots of good advice for indies on how to approach editors to get publicity. He gets 100 pieces of email including the big players on a slow day, so you gotta provide a hook to grab their attention, etc.

I've already watched it 3 times... Really like what he said about don't ever give up, it separates the good developers from the bad ones... then again, being stubborn isn't really a good idea as well, so i guess good developers can find that balance ?

Very instructive video, thanks for sharing! For us it probably means to invest more in the professional creation of game video trailers.

I watched it several times, too. Apparently, our website is rather weak, so that's what I'll be working on. Might have to start blogging, too.
What's interesting is his take on holding back reviews until the game is ready for sale. Kind of a luxury for an indie really--you take whatever press you can get, no?
