There is a lite version in the store to try it.

My impressions are very positive at the moment. The game seems a steal at $1

It is definitely a steal at $1. I personally think it is the best flight sim for iOS.

Current obsessions: Bug Princess 2: Black Label, Neuroshima Hex, Pinball Arcade, Final Fantasy Tactics, MacGuffin's Curse, 1112, Dangerous, 100 Trials, Ascension, The Quest
Anticipating: Spirit Hunter Mineko, Rogue Touch EX, Fargoal 2, Cursed Realms

Fantastic game! Definitely a game only for people who want to put in the time to learn the controls though. The controls is pretty forgiving, but it still takes time to learn. I've played a few combat flight simulator games before (not that I'm good at them), so, so far this game isn't too difficult. But I can see for people who's only played arcade flight simulators will have a hard time.

For people who's never played flight simulators..definitely try the lite version to see if its your thing.

Tried the lite and it didn't really seem all that much better than Skies of Glory (which I nabbed the version with all the IAP missions for free a while back). Does it get any better? How does it compare for those who have both?

I never tried Skies of Glory so I this game feels pretty fresh. The last combat flight simulator that I really played (& completed) is Red Baron (dos version!)..

I bought this game for $2.99 and I it was worth every penny. One buck for a quality, universal title like this is really a steal. And yes, as metioned before - the controls are a bit difficult at the beginning.

Favorites: The Quest Gold + expansions, Mission Europa Collectors Edition, Ascension, Jet Car Stunts 2, Junk Jack X, King of Dragon Pass, Kingturn series, Mecho Wars HD, Mini Dash, Mos Speedrun, Ravenmark, Sonic series, Fall of Angels, Highborn, Solomonís Keep / Boneyard, pixel art games, remakes and ports of classic games.
