I was pretty surprised too. The big question, though - does it give you Xbox Love Achievements???
![]() We also recently got the quite nice My Xbox Live app and Halo Waypoint. I'm liking this. |

Wow, this is such a pleasant surprise! I can't wait to download this for my kids!
I didn't see a description in the App info, os here it is for those interested. They mention that you can unlock additional content on the 360 version by playing this, I wonder how that's done? I'm hoping this starts a trend for more mobile Microsoft Studios. Out of curiosity, I went to the Windows phone marketplace to see what else might be a potential for the future since I had remembered Kinectimals was an Windows phone 7 game. Here is that link: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-US/pu...soft%20Studios App Description Quote:

I have a tiny NYC apartment, so no room for a Kinect, but always thought this looked fun on the commercials. But then, how much would I really play it? I am going to stop playing Skyrim to play with cute little wild cats?
But on the iPad2, I figured it would be fun, and I could show it off to my nieces. Ok, I got it and just messed around with it for about 10 minutes, so here are my initial thoughts. It looks great. Really impressive. It is totally cute. And very responsive on the touch screen. I taught Rupert (the name of my actual real life cat) to jump, sit, high jump and then skip rope so far. It is really fluid. And I just made it to junior cub sitter, I leveled up! I don't know about longevity in the game, but as a show piece, I am very impressed initially. It will certainly be one of those apps that I bring off to show off the ipad. It is supposed to be universal, but have not put it on the iphone yet, so not sure how that differs. |

It's actually pretty fun. There a decent amount of activities you can do with your cub. You can buy a bunch of items like balls and ropes to play with with your cat. Theres an ability to transfer your cub info to your 360s version on Kinectimals. And te ability to transfer from your Xbox version as well.

It uses a QR code that you hold up in front of your Kinect sensor. Then it transfers data that way.

I'm not usually into virtual animal games, but this does look pretty good.
It looks better than nintendogs or that virtual horse game, lol. Cats > all other animals
