So, just to be clear here.

Marathon 2 will be available for iPhone/iPod Touch as well as the iPad, and in an update hitting at the same time as the release, I'll be able to play the original Marathon on my iPod too?

That's awesome. iPad exclusives bum me out.

Yup, you got it, iPhone/iPod touch (looks awesome on iPhone 4 with retina display, not so exciting on 3rd gen devices, but still playable).

iPad was first, 'cause it was easiest.

That's all true. Kinda lags on 3rd gens sometimes.
