App description: Cavemen are tumbling to their fiery doom - help save them! Flick the cavemen to safety into the fluffy clouds. Earn big points by WINNING. Oh, youre NOT playing to win? Youre playing to sin? So be it. Crisp those cavemen by dropping them into the fiery pit of doom. Earn big points by SINNING. Either way, be careful. When the pit is full, its game over.

Sin or Win is an addictive game thats easy to grasp, yet tricky to master. Use your fingers to flick, juggle and bounce cavemen through the air. When the sun goes down, prepare for trouble. Dont just stand by; attack that UFO, defend yourself from the storm cloud and evade those bombs on balloons!

Awesome point multipliers when saving/sinning multiple cavemen
Never a loser, youre either a sinner or a winner
Superb soundtrack inspired by global tribal rhythms
Beautiful high-resolution artwork
Innovative hint system, just twist your iPad

Reviews
148Apps (4.5/5) One of the most addictive games on the iPad

Touch Arcade (3.5/5) Unlike any puzzle title I've seen I think its a special game, I think people are really going to like it

Games Day Podcast (5/5) Discovering new ways of scoring big points and extending gameplay is rewarding! An easy recommendation. Definitely check it out!

G4 (Game of the Week) An absolute blast. That dragon hiding out in the clouds is a caveman-crisping jerk, though.

Apps24H ...will leave gamers desperately clawing at the screen this addictive game is too much fun to ignore.

Girls Gone Gadgets Its super, super cool

Jamie of ToxicBlob here. Thank you for your anticipation of Sin or Win, I've had a lot of fun creating it!

I think you're going to really enjoy playing Sin or Win.

As Brad mentioned in his post I've started work on v1.1, adding in GameCenter and a number of other cool gameplay features.

Do let me know if you have any questions or comments regarding Sin or Win. Or are curious about being an indie game developer.

Quick SoW tip... be gentle with the cavemen. Some players often start by powerfully flicking the cavemen. I shied away from encouraging this as it gets really, really, really tiring. Best to be quick, but gentle.

Early game impressions

The first thing that struck me is how pretty the graphics are and with a very nice style. The gameplay seems really simple, but I suspect there are hidden depths that need to be figured out to get high scores. The game has cavemen that appear periodically and there are clouds that appear for a while and then reappear elsewhere. There are two ways to play. To "win", save the cavemen by flicking them into the cloud. Keeping them aloft longer increases the score. If they fall into the pit, the pit fills in a bit. When the pit gets full, it is game over. If you play to "sin", get them into the pit and not the cloud. Periodically, various enemies show up that zap your cavemen in different ways and they all are very cool looking. The gameplay seems pretty fun, but until I figure out how to really play this, I am not sure how much longevity this will have.

The game cries out for Game Center leader board support, so it a good thing the developer will be adding this.

Thanks to your tip, I have now foiled some fiends, and upped my high score! I am still only at the lonely single star level. I am looking forward to the Game Center update so I can see if many other folks are as pathetic as I am at this. Perhaps by then, I will be better.

I am enjoying your game. Thanks!

My high score is enough to get three stars now, but I would award the game 5 stars. Hopefully, the Touch Arcade review will show up soon and get more folks here playing this little gem.

I just got up to 3 stars too. The game definitely has a bit of challenge to it.

Even after reading the posts, I'm still pretty lost on this game.

Would someone please give me another quick run down on what I'm supposed to be doing? Sorry to ask.

Thanks!
