no... the paid version is Puzzle Quest 1 - just with 3 chapters - this would be Puzzle Quest 2, and I wouldn't be surprised if this one is split up into Chapters as well. =o)

I was thinking the same thing - is this just a lite with an unlock feature or are there timed limitations you must encounter to move on?

So thus my question - is that version going to continue and this is added as a lite and unlock or is that being pulled and replaced with this freemium one

No, the paid version of puzzle quest 2 is still on the NZ appstore.

Curious to know what kind of freemium system this is using... but at least I'll finally get the chance to test out the performance before buying. I've always kinda wanted PQ2 but so many complaints about slow load times and such put me off ever making the jump.
