Ozzy I have tried your trick with running over 8 Ball but he always seems to escape and get himself killed before I can complet the misson any further tips?

Maybe this is because im playing on an ipad1, so the ram limitations are forcing scenery like that to vanish faster than on other devices?

Here's what I did on my i4. When 8-Ball hides himself behind that box while you have to go to the rooftop, take a car (I took the nearby van) and run him over. He won't die, he'll just get stuck under the vehicle and therfore his stupidity won't get him killed and you can pass the mission.
Just in case, you should destroy those explosive red barrels near the box 8-Ball hides behind before he gets there.

the targeting is very annoying why cant we have a simple tap on the person to target like gangstar rio so we know we are killing the right person

Is this the mission where 8-Ball is blowing up the ship, and you have to take out the guys on it?

The way I did this mission was going right round the building (anti-clockwise), until you see a group of crates. Amongst them is a power-up that slows down time. Go to the roof and shoot the guys on the ship, the slow motion makes it way easier. Make sure you see the guys you're shooting actually fall down, otherwise they'll kill 8-Ball and you'll have to start again.
