Blot - An Ink Based Side Scroller [Coming January 2012]

Hi All,

David from Majestic Software here.

After all the fun we have had working on our previous titles Dark Exile and A Mahjong Tale we are happy to announce Blot, our latest game coming in January 2012.

Help Blot duck and weave his way across the page avoiding all the pencils and thumbtacks that stand in his way. Ride a streak of paint, grab some coins, buy some awesome outfits and exciting tools to help you achieve a new distance record.

Don't forget to pick up your Boost Buddies along the way and charge up your Boost Power!

Let the wind blow through Blot's ink and have some fun!

The game will feature:
  • High speed, nail biting action
  • Equippable tools to help get that extra millimetre or coin
  • Dozens of wacky outfits
  • Hand drawn backgrounds (inspired by boring meetings and high school textbooks)
  • Boost Buddies to power up your invulnerable Boost Power
  • 4 different paints that alter Blot's flight for better or worse
  • Game Center achievements and leaderboards
The game will be universal which means we have your iPod Touch, iPhone and iPads covered but this will be our first title to also be available on the Mac via the Mac App Store.

We are really looking forward to releasing Blot and will be sure to let you guys know when it is finally out!

I'll definitely keep this game in mind. Nice trailer! I especially liked the beginning.
