Why do you feel entitled to updates? Maybe the Dev had a valid reason blocking them from submitting updates. Do any of you really know for sure?
Jeez guys you bought a game and got that game. Calm down. If you like Spellsword get it, if not don't but stop acting like FireFruitForge somehow screwed you over. Wow. |

The free version was also released by Everplay while the paid version wasn't. Plus FireFruitForge's website doesn't even exist anymore. So obviously there is more going on to this whole situation than any of us really know. It would seem to me the developer just didn't make it and sold off their content, perhaps Everplay couldn't (for some reason) obtain of release the updates. Again who knows?
I just can't believe how victimized iOS gamers can feel over a couple dollars spent on a game. Being an iOS developer has to be one of the most thankless jobs out there. |

I only expect an update when the developer promises it, and even says that it's been submitted... not like I expect EVERY friggin game to get updated within the month it's released... But if you're telling your customers that an update is coming, that the bugs have been fixed, and are definitely coming, and then that the update has been submitted... whatever... friggin pointless trying to get a holier than thou attitude to see any other opinion than their own. |

If they say they are going to update the game then they should. Also if they know a bug exists since December then it's a good idea to update so you are actually selling the full game. I know, I know they didn't have the best sales well honestly I think the fact that people knew about the bug and nothing happened since it was widely reported is a big factor. When you read the app reviews and you see ones that are near the top saying 1 star till bug is fixed that's going to turn a lot of people off from buying the game.
If you look at Crescent Moon Games and Ravenous Games they have had bugs with games and generally they are fixed within a few days. People love them and get excited to buy their next game because they know they can expect quality. But yes I do feel entitled to an update because I would rather be supporting companies that release games of quality, the app store is filled enough with half ass products I want the good ones to stay around. |

Hi, I am from FireFruitForge.
@Syntheticvoid: None of this replies were from FireFruitForge. From the way of writing, the first mail seemed to be from Bulkypix(Publisher) and the other replies were from Everplay. FireFruitForge is neither Everplay nor Bulkypix. All I can say is that we had a lot of stress caused by the low sales and slowly communication with Bulkypix, because both sides seemed to be pretty busy. Finally we ended up quitting to work with Bulkypix as you know, and quickly worked on a new game to avoid bankrupticy. All of this caused this extremely long delay. The facts are: The updated paid is at Bulkypix since start of this week. It SHOULD be available in the upcoming week. For Terra Noctis there were content updates planned with new worlds, but it's financially not possible. We've expected way better sales. Sorry, but this can happen if the overall excitement about a game is quite low or the marketing was bad. |

Also using Terra Noctis's "popularity" to sell their new game Spellsword, which I'm guessing FFF has nothing to do with, since you're NOT Everplay, and Everplay is the one developing Spellsword... but also saying things like As well as commenting on the status of TN like they were HEAVILY involved, and are in charge of the paid version's updates.... which at this point, does not speak well for them. |

I don't know. Just seems like a lot of miscommunication going around. Especially when Everplay is making it sound like THEY are in control of the update to TN, etc. |
