App description: FEATURED in "NEW & NOTEWORTHY" section by Apple in GAMES/ACTION & GAMES/ARCADE category

Unleash the fiery wrath of the dragon with your own breath in this high flying fantasy shooter! Download Draco The Dragon, discover a whole fantasy world from the skies, and burn an evil sorceress plans for world domination to ashes in this fast paced 2-D shooting romp today!

Draco, The Dragon is the perfect blend of white knuckle arcade style shooting action and engrossing storytelling. The games campaign throws you into the shoes -- or more accurately wings -- of Draco and two other playable dragons, challenging you to defeat the Evil Sorceress and reclaim the heart of the world before she uses it to destroy the world and remake it in her own image! Your mission is to wind around, shoot, and destroy her evil minions as you race from one beautiful landscape to save the world.

This aerial combat adventure is fully fleshed out to say the least. The game includes 12 differently landscaped missions to play through -- crossing everywhere from tropical islands and windy snow swept mountains to barren deserts and more. There are loads of diverse enemies to battle, over forty achievements to unlock, and interactive online leader boards to compete for glory on as well.

Players shoot fire by continuously tapping on their screen, and pick up special Fire Breath attack with every 5 enemies they shoot down. This special attack takes things to the next level as users unleash their inner dragon and direct Draco to shoot massive fireballs by simply blowing onto their iPhones screen!

Simply put, this is the most visceral gaming experience on iOS. Controlling Draco touch & drag controls are incredibly intuitive as well, something that will come in handy when you need to dodge enemy fire and quickly aim shots. Getting hit takes away health, but not fret too much, every minion you take down will reward you by regenerating your health bar!

Story-based fantasy gaming and the fast-paced 2-D shooter genres dont only co-exist, they take Draco, The Dragon to the next level and turn it into an arcade extravaganza thats hotter than a fire ball!

Hmmm this does look very good, reminds me of an old classic arcade game (Was it Dragon Spirit ?). Think i'll get this when my ipod stops making funny noises after i had to eject it as it took hours to backup !

Video looks good, think i'll get this one

A vertical shooter which is different as its a dragon, sounds good

Hmmmmm !

Potentially this could be very good, a few issues

When the game started it was displaying upside down ! Basically theres no 'auto-tilt' or whatever the names called, so i normally play a game with the main ipod button at the bottom, this was the opposite. So its bad it doesnt auto adjust.

(By the way openfeint is spelt wrong in the app)

But DAMN it has tilt controls, i cant stand tilt controls ! When it said tap based shooting controls i thought it would have tap based moment/on screen buttons but nope.

If this had relative touch controls or simply touch controls in the corner I would really enjoy it, something a bit different than shooting at the usual WW2 bombers.

Money wasted in my view, i should have waited, my fault. But i cant stand tilt controls on a shoot em up, if it had relative touch (is that the term ?) it would be very good.
