If you got a ps3 or psp, pixel junk monsters is just a tiny bit better.... Mostly in terms of length, co-op play and replayability... That game also has a great amount of charm.. On the iOS i feel that kingdom rush is the best TD game ...

You've probably heard of plants vs zombies? That is #2 in my book on iOS..

Anomaly warzone is pretty good but is TD in reverse..

I know its an old game and lacks a lot of the charm and story and cheats sometimes too! but i like Fieldrunners... I can play that for hours trying to get to level 600 lol very addictive qualities..i lose track of all time when i play that.

First of all, thanks for the helpful response.

I have indeed played Pixeljunk Monsters back when I used to own a PSP. Funny thing is, after I bought an iPod touch I could no longer stand looking at the resolution of the PSP screen

PJM was a very fun experience, one I wish would get ported onto the iOS sometime. I've played PvZ to its end when it initially came out and might probably give it a reinstall.... don't know, not really motivated to though since i've already finished it.

My eyes for now are on Unstoppable Gorg; that, and finishing KR.

I'm not really a big fan of tower defense, but I grabbed this while on sale. I figure I'll get a buck's worth of entertainment out of it before it gets irritating and I quit playing, narrowly avoiding throwing my iPad across the room, like all TD games do for me. LOL.

I agree. Besides new content, the most important things for this game should be adding an endless mode and MULTITASKING SUPPORT! The levels are roughly 20-30 minutes long, and I rarely have this amount of time to play a level.

Sheesh! I just spent an hour and a half trying to beat the third (and last) snow level, where the huge sasquatch shows up in the final round. I got to the last wave twice only to be demolished by him; I apparently didn't have enough firepower.

Ended up watching some strategies on YouTube which finally got me through this agonizing level... :P
