So I had everything unlocked, was at 65/70 stars. Do I have to reset just to use the Heroes? I'm not very excited to give up a bunch of stuff just for a hero.

i noticed this too. this means it's not possible to get everything unlocked in a playthrough, so you have to choose between heroes and upgrades, which is shitty.

love the game, but that's a serious bummer.

also, the mob timer is broken and someone else reported that you no longer get gold from mobs killed with meteors.

It seems that way...this is the third time I've had to restart this game from scratch lol

I don't quite understand the problem, can't you just use the Reset option in the game to get your stars back?

Seems like an excellent update, I actually like the fact you can't upgrade everything - some levels might require different upgrade decisions! I still need to play it a bit and see how everything balances out with the heroes - if for the new stage they are better than the regular upgrades. I don't like the IAP though, never liked being squeezed for more money but still an excellent value for the game. The regular heroes that don't cost money at first glance do not seem inferior.

Now if only there were endless levels... :-)

(ok back to watching Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, what a game!)
