Anyway, thanks allot for doing this, your making it really easy to make a great game even better for people like me who don't know much about modding. |

Time For me to go to bed now...it's 12:15am, I've done as much as I can for today. The reason I've stayed up so late Modding for you guys, is because "We" are having a baby tomorrow (first born). My wife is over due and we go in tomorrow...scratch that...today at 10:00am. We don't know the gender of the baby so it's a (late) christmas present for us both :thumb:
I will be back as soon as I get chance to complete what I've started so don't worry, but as you can expect...I'll be very BUSY to begin with (I'll sneak on when I can) I'll try to get the Buildings Mod post completed by the end of the week with a newly compiled IMG file, it will have both the custom cars and custom buildings added WISH US LUCK...

Hey I have a few questions. First is how did u get the skin mods for ur character to work on the iphone. And the second one goes back to my post on the other gta 3 thread. Do u no what is making my game with my game 6 modded cars glitch. I'm guessing it's because the vehicle mods I have on my phone are much more detailed than regular ones. Whats ur guess. I'm on a 4s too

What could be happening with your mods is that the framerate is dropping every so often due to the high poly count of your mods. I don't know what you mean exactly by glitching...if you could be more specific I could try and recreate the problems your having. Just list the car mods you have, settings you altered, etc. |

How to add car mods on a Mac using 4SModdedIMGfile or iP4ModdedIMGfile:
1. Locate and make a duplicate of your gta3.ipa. (It's always good to make a backup of the original file. Save the original and work on the duplicate.) 2. Change the file extension from .ipa to .zip. Extract the ZIP file. Open the extracted gta3 folder and open the folder named Payload. 3. Option click on the file named gta3 and click on "Show Package Contents". (You're in like Flynn!) 4. Copy the car mods from either 4SModdedIMGfile or iP4ModdedIMGfile (depending on your device) into the folder, replacing the existing files. 5. Now for the slightly tricky part. Zip the contents of the gta3 folder, not the folder itself, meaning, select everything inside the folder, ctrl-click and compress. You can rename the archive to the name of the app and then change the .zip extension to .ipa. Double-click on it to add it to iTunes (or drag the file to iTunes). Be sure to delete the unmodded ipa from both iTunes and your iDevice. Sync your iDevice and your done. 6. Bonus: You will notice that your gta3 ipa file has gone from 720.9MB to 465.6 MB. You just saved yourself a bunch of disk space on your iDevice. For some reason when you zip the file back, it gets much smaller. But the game plays just fine. Enjoy the extra disk space on your iDevice! P.S. This works for the car mods. For the store mods, you will need to be able to use the Windows program IMGTool 2.0. I was able to get this working using Crossover, a mac app that lets you run Windows .exe files. When KON3 creates a modded gta3_pvr.img that includes the building mods, then you should be able to use the above technique without having to use IMGTool. Have fun!
