Same. Spent the dollar and now my neck hurts from staring at my lap too long. Never played such a fast paced match 3 before. Loving it.

I'm interested in getting this, but, I'm wondering if there's any difference between the 1st one and this one.

You see, I've got the first one, and after looking at the screenshots, I can't tell the difference in like gameplay or new elements or new stuff to do in the game, as compared to the 1st one.

anyone who has both, or better all 3 HD versions, able to give me a tinkering as to how these few are different from each other? That'll push me over the edge to grab it!

It is different. For now it's a Blitz mode, where you have one minute to get as many gems as possible in order to advance to the next level. But graphics and sound are amazing. Grab it while it's 99c. You'll love it.

I own all 3 iphone versions,but got this one for my ipad while it's on sale.
While the 1 minute mode put me off before i got it ,it's now my favourite one.
You need to get a minimum score to proceed and a high score to earn medals in each level. These will grant you power ups wich you can choose and boost your totems or other things. At the end the cascades and explosions are insane,really worth your dollar.

I played the demo and I'll most likely get it but I'm upset it was released AFTER ipad 3 was out and there's no retina display? Please tell me you plan on making this awesome game even better for the newer devices?

At first I didn't like the idea of Blitz mode idea, but it's not like others. The more points you score, the more the meter climbs, and the faster chance of moving on to the next level. It's actually quite intense as you race to rack up jewel-based blocks and specials (dynamite, etc..). I like the way you earn stars that you use to upgrade various specials (don't remember now if that was in the second one).

This came out in Dec 2011. It just recently has been updated for bug fixes, but the release was months ago.

Better just grab it. 1st you have, 2nd is actually a universal, so no dedicated HD. Most people seem to like the second better than the first - very similar, but second just fells like a more polished game.

3rd as mentioned is just pure Blitz. 1 minute games that most love, and some wish there was a more traditional, relaxed mode. But, 3rd is even more polished with he gameplay. If you like Match 3 s these are some of the premier to get.

I'm hoping for a relaxed mode -top priority, and retina - second priority.
