Needless to say, Pizza Vs. Skeletons is the most fun I've had with any game for a long time.
Thanks for the Little Acorns recommendation, enjoying it as well.

Agreed on Pizza vs. Skeletons.

Beat Sneak Bandit is much more awesome than I was expecting. Just wasn't sure the rhythm, puzzle, platform combo would work but it does, and oh so well.

Wish the App Store would let me get Awesome Land for free. Stupid being modified bs.

Cue crex for the Puzzle Agent recommendation.

They probably just didn't feel like optimizing it. Either that or they felt like the game wouldn't be ideal for smaller devices.

Maybe we'll see it in the future.

Does anyone out there own Earthworm Jim or Rayman 2 by Gameloft? Really wondering whether they're worth buying or not, so would you guys recommend either of them? Thanks!

Coincidentally I'm also wondering if Earthworm Jim is worth buying. I've tried the lite version, and EJ seems to be actually quite decent for a game published in 2009. Still on the fence, though

Yep, it's a great 2D action platformer. It's from Gameloft during their Golden Days on the AppStore when they were the leading developer of platform.

Can't really say anything good about Rayman 2 though.

Okay, thanks. Is Rayman 2 really that bad though? Is it at least semi-fun? It felt at least decent from the lite version, but I dunno after that....

Will pick up Earthworm Jim though.

Thanks Goofy, I'll take a look at the threads for some of those suggestions.

No problemo! If I had to recommend only one game this week, it'd be BlockHopper. IMO, it's probably the new bar for puzzle platformers, Something--I think--that hasn't really been moved since Rolando and iBlast Moki.

Pizza vs. Skeletons is actually a close second.

Well I asked in the price drop thread but most people seemed to just say it's down to a top-down/3D preference, so I'll ask here just for some more opinions.

I already have GTA:CW and enjoyed it, is there a point in getting GTA3? Keep in mind that I won't be playing it much on the iPad as it's more of a family device and won't be getting a newer iPod/iPhone until the next generation hits the market, but then again, it's only $1 now.

Is there anything beyond the top-down/3D preferences? Are there any additional features GTA3 has than GTA:CW didn't? Things like making money off drugs, etc. (I actually loved that aspect of GTA:CW of buying low and selling high to make money)
