Just another idea

You could have events something like animal crossing or you could have a mini game casino type thing or something similar..

Or something similar the safari zone mini game in pokemon

I love coming here and reading the comments. It's great to see fans answering the questions lol.
Yeah, stuff like multiplayer will be looked at after release of Version 1.0
I'm planning a Minecraft development/release style. Version 1.0 will be like "getting the game into your hands and getting your feet wet".
I'll be releasing free updates (just log into the app store and download the update when it's out) that will keep expanding the storyline, fixing bugs, and adding so much more content (I'll go into that in the update).

Oh scottyd2k9 - you'll be able to walk around the school. You will not be able to go into other class rooms, but you can go into the Grand Hall on the first floor of the school, go up the stairs to the second floor and go into the Principal's Office. You'll see when you get the game ;-)
There will be secrets about the school that you won't know about until updates too.... (makes sneaky face lol).

Anyways....


Weekly Update
Bit late this week, I was away for the weekend, so I never got a chance to post yesterday.

It's june already? Damn There battle system still has stuff to be coded, ZENFORM stats have not been set in stone (including attacks). I still have a good bit to do. I think what I'll do is- in order to get it in your hands ASAP, I'll cut back on more of the story. Maybe even it out a bit and just include your first 2 days of Protector school.
That way I can focus on the other areas mentioned earlier to make a June release.
You all know the deal now anyways. I'll be updating it often with storyline, so cutting back on storyline for Version 1.0 is not a big deal.


This week, Yoel (the overworld-outfit-hairstyle artist who also does tiles) wanted to remake some of the tiles on the maps. I said he could as I'd be interested in what he wanted to do. He wanted to make the tiles a bit more vibrant and maybe a bit more cute compared to what they were.
He focused on ground tiles. Remaking the grass and "dirt path" tiles. He also remade the flowers which I talked about before.
He did a great job. I posted this screenshot before and on the social sites, but here it is again.


I'm really happy with the newer looks. I think it does a much better job of keeping the game cool and not too cute which could of been a pitfall.


Aside from remaking the maps with the new tiles, I had to retake the images for the map backgrounds for the save/load game menu. That took some time to do.
I then coded in more NPCs to the maps, adding more and more people based on context sensitive variables such as time and storyline "stage". Of course, I done more story based events which I won't be showing off or talking about for spoiler reasons lol.


Next week, I think I'll focus on the stuff missing from battle, tightening up the ZENFORM stats and setting the final movesets in stone (don't forget, the same ZENFORM can have several movepools). I'm not sure what media I'll have next week, but I'll think of something ha.
I'll also be getting a launch trailer made up once the battle stuff is ready. Keep an eye out for that.
And finally, the new website will be launching very soon. I'm thinking I might hold off about a week or so before releasing Version 1.0 before the new site goes live, but I might just upload it earlier lol.

You know what, I am sick of tired of you not getting your project done on time. Lmao, joking joking.

Neo-dragon, just take your time on the game. Don't worry about the release, till you think and know the 15% or whatever the game will be done to release.

I can wait till next month if you want. The longer you take, the more art work you gather, to make it even more perfect. So, just do what your doing and stay CALM!!!!

even if it takes forever to release as long as neo is enjoying what hes doing im cool with that, keep up the good work and God Bless Neo.

The more time you have the better the game will be, just take your time im pretty sure people can wait, it's the pokemon game to watch out for no other games will come close to this on IOS. I seriously dont mind waiting...

I'm actually all for him to release it sooner rather than later. That way he can get ideas from more people playing about how to improve, and it can be something we all experience together until it reaches perfection!!

Damn this looks pretty good actually. Also is there any news on Gamelofts Pokemon clone coming out for iOS? I know it's out on Nintendo's eShop but I haven't been paying much attention to iOS stuff (or games in general) recently because I've been so busy with other things.

this is like playing DS games on iOS nice really nice,how about zenonia gameplay & graphics then stick some cute pocket size monster in there then that's it pokemon look alike.that would be cool.sorry for my bad english.
