Hi everyone,
It has been a long day, with a lot of response world-wide. I would like to thank everyone here at the Touch Arcade community again for all your feedback. All of it - both positive and negative - has been very constructive, which helps us immensely. I would like to take this chance to answer some of your questions in detail. 1. Multiplayer We are aware this is a big draw for this kind of game. However, we have a big commitment to quality. The challenges in running multiplayer are tough to overcome, and though we studied some multiplayer solutions, ultimately we decided it was better to release no multiplayer than to release without proper testing and quality. Launch date would also be pushed a lot, which is a delicate situation for an indie developer. If response continues to be this great, we will have the opportunity to add it in the near future, and when we do, you can trust it will be the best multiplayer possible. 2. More content We have more content already in the pipe and getting ready to be released. This means more maps, more characters, more features. We are in this for the long run, and as long as there is interest in the game, we will keep supporting it. 3. Return to Altar and other issues We have found a few and are working on numerous fixes. We believe the core gameplay and the inherent fun of this genre really carries the game, but all those details that have been annoying you will be fixed. Just stay with us, and you will have it. 4. Support for more connectivity features (Gamecenter, openfeint, etc.) These are on our radar. Some have a higher priority than others, but most of these have been considered and Gamecenter is a must for Multiplayer. 5. Balancing All the characters in the game right now were put through a long battery of testing, which did include balancing. The amount of time a team can put into this, however, is tiny compared to the power of a community. Let us know what are the nails that need hammering, and eventually it will all be smooth - definitely in time for multiplayer! 6. Camera zoom in/out Use pinch to zoom in and out. Once again, thank you all! If you want to contact us directly for suggestions, bug report, etc, please send us an email: legendary at maya.im Best, Legendary Heroes Team |

Great game :P i just started using a new character the sand queen one :P i tried doing some missions with her, -..- she got pwned so badly, i had to keep her at base D:, the lvling system for the champs is pretty smart considering, what this can bring to multiplayer, as people with diffrent levels can bring varied things to multiplayer. BUT there are bad things about that,
1.) increased levels = no incentive D:, iknow that increased levels increases skill level, but wats the point? there is no idea on how much the damage or speed or something is raised in a skill when you upgrade it, the damage could increase by 1, whereas another skill could have been increased by 3 or 5. 2.) If you are going to support mutiplayer, levels shoud mean nothing but OP ness against noobs and beginners, which lead to them "rage" quitting the game due to the toughness of multiplayer. A.) What im suggesting is that, you should put levels on your characters for SINGLE player mode only. This will let people try out characters they've never used before. B.) IAPs so far in this game are fine, i can get jewels and coins from submissions and missions :P, pretty cool, no need to pay $10 to buy some character that will rule the game. C.) Make AI's smarter -..- maybe you could handicap them or something and make it into easy mode :P. But overall make the AI's smarter D:, i was attackig the source, got gang banged by minions and 2 champs. Had the source at 1/4 hp, and 2 of my allies come along and DONT attack the source D:<.... they die and the game keeps going on... D.) Cost of champions, while there aren't many champions in the shop, the ones that are locked and cost gold are worth TONS OF MONEY... the Sunbird is worth 3.5k or so. This amount is huge compared to the amount of money you make from missions and completing sub missions. While missions are redoable and good for replayability, maybe you could lower the price? Even League of Legends' lowest price character is only 450 IP then 1350 IP. Which isn't much. E.) Incentives and Rewards. You could put incentives like 500 gold or something for leveling up later in the game, as grinding becomes necessary and rewards for completing a certain number of missions/ getting a number of kills. This help people grind while giving them somethign to look forward to. F.) DROPS i saw someone post something on this b4, Talbs I think it was... anyways DROPS would be great to add to the game, it gives players a sense of pride and accomplishment when they get something rare... DONT GIVE CRAPPY DROPS OVERALL good game :P ok graphics with the iphone 4... I like the gameplay style and while AI mite be stupid sometimes, its a great game

Well I am having lots of fun with the game. More maps and characters would be awesome. I can see that a lot of testing was done to balance the characters.
I did notice pinch can zoom in or out. I just wish it could zoom out more or that I could look around the map. As I said, I am enjoying th game, which is a first for me since I did not like the lawl version. On the ipad2 the controls are ok for me. Keep up the good work and all the best. Hope we see some tournaments in the near future! |

I'm a longtime DOTA and HoN player. Just downloaded this game and played through the tutorial and first level. Here are my initial thoughts...
- Get rid of having us control 3 heroes. Just let us micro manage 1 Hero. - Need the ability to review the spells/abilities in the middle of the game. This is crucial when leveling up. - Need the ability to see the impact of the levels on each spell/ability. Or else how will I know which one to level up? - Let us zoom out more - Need to speed up movement of the Heroes. Feels like they are walking so slow. Not much option for hit and run attacks. - The camera always re-centering itself is a bit annoying - Everyone else has talked about the need for multiplayer Good start though... hopefully this can be become a big hit based on all the feedback. |

I would personally love to see an alternative control choice for the heroes. Maybe a dynamic analog stick and an attack button for regular attacking while keeping the rest of ui the same. I keep trying to use the drag in a direction to move option but i can't just keep my thumb in one corner and move around. Also i think a third person view option would be nice if it isn't much of a bother. You could tap on an enemy just as you would in the top down view. I agree the hero ai needs an update because whenever they respawn they just set there and do nothing. So if i need them in a big battle i have to move them all the way from the source to there, which by that point i have died anyways from being over powered. The load times seem to take a long time, if this can be approved it would be much appreciated. I would like to see an archer or ranged combat focused character, and i realize that there are several heroes who have ranged attacks, but an archer gunner type would be nice. Different types of regular troops you could customize would be nice if you had lets say 10-20 slots for troops, then the player could try to make a balanced team. I really wish that the quick play mode would allow the player to choose maps. Most of the other bugs and things needed are already mentioned.

Ok well the powerups bought with IAPs are a one-time use only. Bought the +40 attack one and used it in a match and it was gone, forever. I guess it is best to use ur diamonds to buy the extra characters.
Also MP now can be balanced using this strategy. I mean who will buy powerups every single match? ![]() Learning the controls and so far it is very responsive, unlike what others have said. Please do not lower the cost of champions as one user suggested. I've played a little so far and will soon have 3.5k gold, enough to buy sunbird soon. It is reasonable. |

I tested the game and so far so good...
Nevertheless I think that the bad point of this game need to be pointed out quickly: 1. 3 player control is a pain and must be removed at all cost on multiplayer because the AI isn't developed enough making the heroes do towerdive at low hp. 2. 1 lane limits the game strategy a lot. 3. Adding a joystick option would be nice for moving 4. Perhaps I missed this but I coulnt find a way to unlock the camera and see outside of the heroe's range 5. This is to be discissed but I think fog of war would be nice. 6. Finally if you want to release a multiplayer mode and make this popular REMOVE THE POWER UPS that are purchase le and find another way of making money and remove the heroes lvl outside of a game it is better to make him start at lv1 like every classic MOBA. Sorry of this is to negative but I have I expectations for this game! |

Well lvl 19 here.
Found some bugs. Well at least I think they are: -map 12 nightfall 2 (i think) source is indestructible. I kept hitting at it forever and did little dmg. -screen turns full black sometimes on ipad2. Cant do anything except quit. -leveling up skills do nothing. Stats for the skills show the same dmg, etc as lvl 1. To the above poster, one lane is just the 3-4 first maps.
