Destroy Gunners SP $8.99 ---> $3.99

Still sounds pricey, but I got into the free version Destroy Gunners F after it being recommended to me by syntheticvoid and snagged this as soon as it went on sale. Probably the best mech game on the iOS that I know of.

They say the sale is for the launch of Destroy Gunnners Z, but it's only been released on Android so far and I haven't been able to find any info on an iOS release.

Released for Anroid first, iOS last? Wut the hellz is wrong with thems. I won't support this game then, cuz that's how I roll.

Seriously though, haven't played a good mech sim game on iOS. Never heard about this game though. Thanks for mentioning it.

If you don't want to take the full plunge, the free Destroy Gunners F has a surprising amount of content for a "lite". If you like it, then you might want to jump on SP as it doesn't seem to go on sale much.

Well the one in the Android market is the Japanese version only, so maybe Destroy Gunners Z is only in the Japanese AppStore? Or maybe they're waiting until they finish the English translations before they release it in the AppStore. It's definitley a great game...this app deserves more exposure

Probably would have got more exposure if they didnt start off with a ridiculous $8.99 price tag (for a 16 meg game). Laughable

I dunno. They released Destroy Gunners Z II/ Ice Burn for Android and never bothered putting it on ios. They might not even put Z on ios either and Shade Inc has another game not on ios. Seems like an Android company and ios is probably an afterthought for them, I wouldn't be surprised if Z didn't make it to ios.

Frankly, I was a bit put off by the price too (they seem to have the Square Enix way of thinking). But I really dug the free version so when it dropped to $3.99, I had no problem picking it up. Don't think there's another mech game on the iOS that compares to it and it looks pretty good for it's measly 16 MB (guess size isn't everything).

Dont get me wrong size isnt everything when it comes to Apps but when it starts off with a crazy price that just puts me off it big time.

I mean doesnt anyone at that company do research to see what a 'decent' iOS price might be? I dont normally wait for price drops but when a companies greedy i'll wait on this one as i'm sure the way its going it'll be down to 99c some point soon.

It might make it to the iOS. I took a look at Shade's website and, while it's mostly Japanese, somewhere it made reference to Z on Android and the iOS. No dates that I could find though. Maybe they are translating the game to English, which would be delaying its release.

What's really strange is to have the AppStore description of Destroy Gunners SP make specific reference to having this sale to celebrate the release of Destroy Gunner Z. If they haven't/aren't releasing it on the iOS, why bother putting that in the AppStore description for this game?
