there are however some iaps on equipment page, where you can buy additional slots for stuff to equip. the base game mechanics are quite ok and can be fun. just it seems like game engine sucks because even going between menus is slow. the same is with ui and gameplay. and chars of course could be something different than just a lame joke. but it's free, even if with iap, so evereone can try it.

Game Impressions

I downloaded Battle Legend Infinity today and it is awesome. All the homages to retro gaming are super fun and make playing the game enjoyable everytime.

Favorite character/team combo is Lauren, John, and Chris.

Everyone should download this- why not? Its free.

I can agree with the fact that the engine seems a slightly chuggy, but all in all, that shouldn't take away from the game itself.

It's a fast action turn based fighter, that gives you the same feel the older RPGs did, sans the storyline/adventure. Runner game meets horde mode.
And the best part of the game (imo), is the fact that the entire game is an homage to 8-bit classics. References everywhere. Which is based on the fact that the heroes of the game are apart of above mentioned "Descendants of Erdrick" which is a video game cover rock band. (there's a meta reference in there somewhere)

So.. think of this game as taking pages from a cover band, paying homage to the original artist, and yet still using it in it's own way.
