Yes the big content update will be free.

There is also a large new city district to drive around in with plenty of new missions and vehicles with it. Hoping to get a teaser or preview together before the big update but the team are super busy polishing it all up so this may not happen as the release is more crucial to us

^Great to hear, Smash Cops is a great game, one of the few games i was playing non stop after buying, completed it quite quickly but liked to replay the missions. Looking forward to another city as well

You do know a sequel should be based in London or something (Specially as you are UK based arent you ?) . Would be great and i'm sure overseas fans would enjoy it

I am intrigued by the sale. However, I noticed the IAPs in the Appstore page. How essential are these? Are we going to be repetitively grinding without it?

The game is definitely not grindy in any way, getting 5 stars in all missions can be a challenge but the emphasis is on it being a fun challenge and not a grinding marathon

Theres a good variety of missions there, i completed them all, didnt use any IAP's at all and really enjoyed it.
