Well. This game has such a rich and heroic history of the development that you just have to like it!
It was started - ready? - almost a year ago. All the code and all graphics where rebuilt a couple times. And game actually isn't that bad as Apple treat it - they pushed it back to the end of publsihed by 20th of December when we submitted it to be released just today

Anyway we hope you will like and support this mummy kid.

Played through a few levels, and pretty fun. Plays a bit like Wind up Knight. Emphasis on good jump timing. You have 1 hour to play the whole thing, and restarting a level does not reset your clock, so restarting is a penalty. I guess the possible issue is - I don't know how bad I am doing with respect to finishing in an hour, I guess you have to get there and see.
I did not see rewards for a "perfect" level - ie no deaths, collect every jewel, but then again, I have not ad a perfect level either.

Level design seems good so far. Simple tap to jump at the right time controls. Auto movement in one direction so far. Hit a special gem that speeds you up, so alters your timing. Not always sure what is bad, and what is good, so some trial and error is employed.

It does not have the complexity (for where I am, it may get more complicated) of Wind up knight - so a straight comparison of "is it worth it" is not fair - but I think Wind Up Knight is underpriced. I think people will enjoy this game - the controls are good, with an interesting premise, and reasonable level design, so give it a whirl if you are a runner type fan.

Actually the game is much longer than the single hour. But I'll just keep in a secret how it's done. ;-)

You should get additional time and points for the perfect level (when you collect ALL green gems on a level) - looks like we should add separated explanation on this in the game.

So playing this some more, and it s growing on me. Levels getting harder, timing needed is much more precise, there are some secret, or at least alternative paths, not always easily recognized.

2 things - need to be able to rotate the game. Orientation that is fixed is never a good thing.

Second - it seems the height of the jump is dependent on how long you press for? My imagination? Anyways, adds some additional subtlety / complexity to the game. I have some gold gems? Not sure what they do.

Ran across a freeze gem, very nice, although the enemies can still kill you.

I was thinking this is not as hard as Wind Up Knight - I am wrong - getting through the levels are perhaps not as hard - getting even close to perfect gem collection is likely harder. There is not the same "pressure" to get perfect scores though - only time will tell if that is good or bad, but I am liking it, I don't get frustrated.

Yes, the height of jump depends from how long you press. And yes you should see in the game later how we use the feature.

Gold gem - Sunlight Crystal - you can press it at top right of the screen to kill the monsters around you.

Yes. We made the first a couple levels easy enough to let you get into the game.
