Electrogravitron (Now Free!)

I saw this came out a few weeks ago, it looked pretty interesting.
It has some simple vector graphics, and nice multitouch gameplay.

--------

Touch the screen to warp space and shoot electricity from your fingers. The blue dots move away from where you touch. Maneuver them into the goal and they will turn green. Keep them there for a few seconds to get to the next level.

Electrogravitron takes beautiful advantage of the multi-touch input and accelerometer features of the iPhone and iPod touch. Not only can you shoot electricity from multiple fingers at once, but tilting the device also allows you to control the dots.

The controls and objectives of Electrogravitron are easy to understand, and the first few levels will get you in the groove. 25 increasingly difficult levels provide endless challenges. Replay levels to try to beat your best time. Skip a level if it is too hard to keep yourself in the flow zone.

Even if you don't go for the main objective of this game, it is a lot of fun just to push the dots around, tilt the device and watch them ooze, and enjoy the water-like space rippling effect and electric shocks wherever you touch.

programmers who can't spend money for design every time make a 'retro style' game.

You have obviously never played Dropship, Vector Tanks, or GeoDefense. They are all retro and eye candy.

People play with their phones to fill up time. For example, when I am on the bus, I like to play 2-3 minutes. If I buy a new game (I always buy them on the bus or on the subway), when I want to play with it immediately, not start to learn. I have to learn enough anyway. I want to enjoy it at the end of the 3 minutes. If I play other 3 minutes with it, it is a good app. If I play with it for 2-3 weeks while I am travelling it is great.

Well, it's certainly not the prettiest game the world has ever seen but it's a good concept and it plays to the device's strengths of course. I'm going back for more.
