Note that you can get beta testers without having to get people's UDIDs (and using up your dev account device list) by getting the app approved by Apple but not actually releasing it to the App Store.
Then you can just give out Promo Codes to beta testers (where you will get 50 new codes for every new version approved). Apple of course don't want unfinished apps in the store so it'd have to be an actual good release candidate to pass, but doing this when you think it's pretty much ready before fully releasing it might be a good idea (I remember the developer of Codea did this). |
