I beat all bosses except for siegfried(yes the double mantas as well) and havnt gotten any mithril as drop. How high is the drop chance? And the chest piece for the new set costs mithril..i guess i wont be getting it since there is no way i will be able to get that much mithril without paying.

They added a new laser and plasma for mithril so now the only best weapon in its class that you can reasonably earn is the minigun, but I'm guessing they'll fix that next update...

Gonna have to see how the mithril drops work. Sounds like they're rare, and I'm guessing they'll be like 2 or 3 mithril in which case this just became a Glu game for all intents and purposes. No longer is all armor buyable without mithril, now all the best weapons are mithril except the minigun, now like 5 of the best 6 packs are mithril (and the one that isn't is expensive to use). I hope the new playable content is pretty good because gear-wise this was a pretty bogus update.

Royce the mini gun is really really good, i think it is only outmatched by rocket launcher as far as efficiency goes so you aint missing much. Of all the new stuffs the 35 mithril sword seems like the only good deal. Shame for an otherwise great game. Developers should take note from another similar game "bullet time" which has a better reward system which players actually get IAP currency by game play(albeit scarce) as opposed to NONE.

EDIT:i just got 2 mithril from the spider crab thing

Yeah it's nice, but I hate the slowdown and delay before first shot. Also the lasers have piercing beams (allowing multiple hits per shot) so there is definitely an argument to be made for them as the top weapons, but I don't feel like opening that can of worms again so I'll leave it at that. For me the biggest disappointment is the loss of laser as a non-mithril top weapon choice and the mithril chest which reverses their no mithril for any armor precedent. Anyway gonna get into the content later today. Maybe it's really good and I'll forgive them

As long as you are camping in a safe spot and not running around getting yourself killed you dont really need speed that much. And for boss killing anything other than the chain gun is just a waste of time and ammo. I finally got 2 mithril drop from crab boss. I can get the phaser sword now!

the F.L.O.A.T backpack bonus says it lasts 30 seconds but it only lasts 10 =/ anyway ill stick with the SAM-005-i since it has much better stats and its sometimes hard to see the enemy with the F.L.O.A.T and a big gun... i would not recommend buying it even if it really looks cool.

Does it still have a full minute cooldown? If so that's a terrible item, must be a bug.

Hey man i dont mean to argue with you. Its just my opinion..

And the sword sucks pretty bad. Slow swinging speed, short reach, cant hit air and boss etc. Dont waste your money guys
