From memory, I got it within two weeks. I had enough time to make each boss drop mithril twice every day when I was grinding for it, and the longest it should take you is about 19 days. Felt more like 12 or 13 for me.

Upgrading it, on the other hand? Good lord, was THAT a drag =.="

Believe it or not, that's how I usually play when I'm doing this game seriously. PvP held no value for me before, so I was always trying to buy new equipment and kill the bosses quicker.

question: if I get around 4-15 mithril a day, when do you think i can get the laser cannon?

4-15 is way too big of a range, that is about 53(4per day) days or 14 days(15 mithril per day), 4-15 is a broad range.
