V 1.1 just got approved. This isn't a major update but it does add additional leader boards and some achievements. Now to go work 1.2 which should allow for some additional weapons, ninja customization, and more bad guy types

Thanks for the feedback dclose! a mode for the "squeamish" could actually be really cool! I love the idea of the head turning into flowers or something. I could totally play that up in a fun way!
Here a couple screenshots of the next update for Pocket Ninjas showing the armory screen where you can purchase new heads, body's, and weapons using in game coins (you get a coin for every round you survive). These screens are from last week. Im up to 7 heads, bodys, weapons to choose from. My goal is by the time I release this update it'll be 12+ of each plus new game modes and enemies. Now that I have the purchase engine wrapped up im just adding more content. It's back to being the fun part of development ![]()

Here are some more in progress shots of the upcoming update.
The features are as follows- 9 Ninja Heads, Bodies, and Weapons to use to customize your pocket ninja. The all have different strengths, weaknesses and some have special abilities. Two Levels that each include - 3 Game Modes(Classic, Arcade, and a special "offbeat" mode specific to the level) 3 Enemy types 3 Back drops I've implemented a coin system to unlock the various characters and weapons. The Game modes and Levels can be unlocked by either reaching certain achievements or by using coins (Levels can only be unlocked by achievements) Coins are earned in game play and can also be purchase as an IAP. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Not yet in this upcoming update, but it's something I've had a couple requests for so the plan is to potentially incorporate a bloodless option in one of the next couple updates, barring there being any major glitches in this version that take precedent.
