+1 to the not finding any secrets (well I found 1 but I think that is just because the Barbarian was standing on it when you start the level with him) and also 3.2 is doing my head in, Paytor and Aegon are fine but Roy just gets his ass whooped pretty much instantly.

Point out that it's a TBS at heart which is... slow? Unfortunately, I don't know how they divvy up reviews on this site, but when the pace, misses, glancing blows, etc. were cited as problems, to me that says the reviewer has no idea what they are doing reviewing the particular game and probably never spent 10-12 hours in a single sitting around a table with lots of caffeinated drinks and food you eat with your hands rolling dice and doodling on graph paper, which is where this game draws its inspiration and audience.

I am actually really liking this game a lot, I am only on 3-1, but what I have played so far is pretty fun, and this might be one of the very very few iOs games I actually finish.


Another thing I think the camera/movement controls are awesome, and have not had one problem with the interface at all. Swipe with two fingers to rotate, swipe with 1 to pan, tap to select and tap again to move or cast; how much easier could they have made it? Don't understand the comments about controls at all.

That being said, I do agree with the review, it's a fun game, but it isn't perfect. I like the slow pace of combat animations, but can see how some won't. And it could use more loot.

Speed adjustment on animations (user option) would be a definite plus.

I'd like a proper FF button, not the one that is in the game now.

Something like 4x speed, especially for situations like at the end of 1-3 where you have to watch heaps of peons get summoned and then proceed to run miles to where you are.

Damn game crashes way too often. Sucks the enjoyment out of it.
